He is best known for founding MolochDAO, a groundbreaking decentralized autonomous organization that revolutionized funding mechanisms for Ethereum development through its innovative "rage quit" governance model. Early Career:
Soleimani began his blockchain career as a Software Engineer at ConsenSys (February 2016 - May 2017), where he focused on state channels and helped launch AdChain.
SpankChain (2017-2023):
In May 2017, Soleimani co-founded and served as CEO of SpankChain, a cryptocurrency-based payment platform designed for the adult entertainment industry. The platform addressed payment processing and censorship issues by providing performers with transparent and fair compensation systems. SpankChain shut down in 2023 due to loss of financial rails but continues to offer education and legal support.
MolochDAO (2019-Present):
As the summoner of MolochDAO, launched February 14, 2019 at ETHDenver, Soleimani created a revolutionary funding mechanism for Ethereum development. MolochDAO's "rage quit" governance model allows participants to exit and recover funds without approval, fundamentally changing how Ethereum projects are funded. The organization attracted backing from Vitalik Buterin and Joe Lubin.
Reflexer Finance (2021-Present):
Soleimani co-founded Reflexer Labs with Stefan Ionescu, introducing RAI, a non-pegged stablecoin backed solely by Ethereum.
