OpenG2P is an open-source social benefits registry and delivery platform that enables governments and humanitarian organizations to deliver critical social benefits directly to those who need them. The platform automates and digitizes the entire benefit delivery workflow, from registration through eligibility assessment to cash transfer delivery. Built on a flexible, modular architecture, OpenG2P allows governments to adopt components independently according to their specific needs while maintaining integration across modules. The platform is recognized as a Digital Public Good by the DPGA and is housed within the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B).
OpenG2P emphasizes financial inclusion, privacy protection, and gender equality in social program delivery. Its architecture supports secure and efficient registries for vulnerable populations, particularly those lacking formal identification. The platform leverages open-source technology and modern cloud infrastructure to enable scalable, sustainable digital transformation of government-to-person service delivery across emerging economies.
